Don't remember how to do it exactly but you go to online rankings and click on the person you want to load. There is a little projector icon that you can click to either save their ghost data or watch their replay.

I messed around with the manual trans a bit last night. I can get way better times through the first two corners, but I am just not experienced enough to run the full track in manual. I may give it some more work tonight. I can't believe how much faster that car is in the MT mode.

I downshift to 2nd as I enter the first hard right corner, downshift into 3rd as I enter the chicane, downshift into 3rd as I enter the half circle, and downshift to 3rd as I enter the last left. In all cases, I am braking while I downshift. The main advantage I see of MT is late braking. It leverages engine braking while braking. If you time it so you downshift right onto the rev limiter, you can decelerate faster/in a shorter distance compared to AT and spend/lose less time braking. ABS helps; I use level 1.

I also try to upshift right at 8k rpm (the rev limit). If I shift at 7.9k or bounce on the limiter, I lose valuable time.

Uttering "I'm comin' up on your ass!" a couple times to the Peugeot boosted my confidence through the last 2 corners. x]

Thanks for the tips. I actually had a run that would have easily been in the 5's last night (Auto), but I tapped the wall on the last straight ever so lightly. You can imagine the rage that followed.

I played yesterday with the clutch and the best I could muster was 1:06.291. I tried again tonight with the paddles and got it down to 1:05.753:

1:05.753 - @Deslock - G27 - MT(paddles)
1:06.291 - @Deslock - G27 - MT(clutch)

(ABS=1, no driving line, TC, or other aids)
