I've finished Dead Space.

I enjoyed the game but there were a couple of things I noticed that irked me just a little.
I rarely knew where I was or where I had to go, I was constantly using the where to go button.
The interior was poorly designed for a huge space vessel.
Why did a room go dark under quarantine conditions?
Having to use 2 sets of direction keys was messy. One for movement, one for in game menu navigation.
Couldn't unbind number pad keys from movement.
Boss fights are so dated but given the game understandable.
The graphics/ interior design is amazing. I didn't see one plain/boring surface.
My rating is great game but wait for sale; I don't think there is much replay value. I think I'll wait a while before starting the Game Plus mode.

Next on the radar is Atomic Heart.

Doing New Game Plus, I stand by my voice acting zonk, but also the overall sound design. Watching the original, the voice acting was so superb. The actors and actresses added vocal ques that let you know various emotions such as fear, mistrust, frustration, ect. The new ones do it, but far more monotoned. The sound design too! They made simple things like elevators moving and doors closing sound spooky. And the weapons sounded so much more raw and powerful.

Otherwise, still a solid game I highly recommend. But yeah, if you aren't hardcore into DS, just wait till it's on sale.

Some people just dont accept that you are better than them.

Some of the hacker callouts can be obvious but other times its like...i played this game enough times to know the little secrets and corners to watch out for...plus i have headphones.. i can HEAR you a mile away.

Some players just have faster twitch/reactions than me but it still crazy to see how many players just dont have any sense of their surroundings. I mean if you're a casual player sure i can forgive you for it (cuz its something you dont care about) but if I've seen you enough times when i play online...you should know all the things to look out for by now.

Kind of like drivers here in Calgary, every winter it seems like everyone forgets how to drive....

I still remember the days of Delta Force multiplayer and the sheer amount of hacking and cheats being used

There are so many factors that people just do not understand. I have a poor connection setup. To get high speed I have to tether my computer to my cell phone. This often means higher ping rates and dropped packets. I get shot behind cover not because a little bit is showing but because the server is still reporting my pawn as being in the open.

That's the same everywhere. In Quebec it's so bad that they had to pass a law forcing drivers to change to snow tires during the winter months. AH... HELLOOO, this is Canada where it snows! So yeah, drivers should know they have to use snow tires. duh!

If it wasn't for the kill cam in R6 Siege, you would think people were hacking. There were so many times I'd wonder how TF I died. Then you see the kill cam and realized the guy broke a board on the ground level window, shot a hole in the floor of the second floor bedroom, and is laying prone and has LOS on the entry of the garage

That is actually not bad for a newer gen PC. Might be able to save like $50 on the GPU if you purchase it with Best Buy and get an MSI.

Also, I think you might've added one too many 970 Evos. There's only so many slots on a MOBO for NVMe. I think at most it can take up to two.

i was mostly just playing. not ready to pull the trigger on any of it, i'd likely do a better video card to further future-proof it. though i'm not quite happy with the price of ddr5 right now. i'm in no rush, so i'll see if it falls some in a few months/years.

that mobo can do 3 m.2 drives, so i'd use all 3, especially now that ssd prices have fallen far enough, there's just less reason for spinning rust in a new build.

crazy to think that in 2009 i paid something near $400 for a 120gb sata ssd...

Mechanical hard drives impress me a lot. To think that a mechanical actuator can move with that sort of precision and be sold for the price they're at.

Do you need the 5.25 drive bays? Airflow is probably ok but can do much better for the price, just no bays.

I use them in my unRAID setup where they spend most their time spun down. SSD write "cache" when doing backups and for most of my uses reads are more than fast enough. Anything I need faster I have local, though I could change up the SSD setup. Sometimes wish I'd gone m2 cache drives, I max out sata SSD writes at about 3.6Gb/s backing up my personal rig.
