Someone wrecked a rental Buick there last time I was down that way.

I went a bunch slower in my van.
All the lake beds kind of look the same up there. Not sure how many others you can drive on though. It looks more like the wheel just dug in while going sideways and over it went.

Can't believe they're sticking with 20k. I think they were one of the first to get it allocated here in NorCal and have had it with the 20k markup since then. smh. I could swing by with mine and waste their time, but then that would be wasting my time too. hahaha

Reminds me of when I got my BRZ in 2017. I did a pre-order for an allocation. Some other ones came in also with the PP and they had 10-15k markups in the showroom, but mine I walked out with around or just under "invoice" (so maybe like 20k less than that markup).

If you're patient enough you can wait out the dumb adjustment or at least not have to pay the very large ones. But if you're desperate... rip.

as a reminder, my 2014 brz is available to the first buyer offering $500,000, and will take it as it sits.

a price doesn't mean an intent to sell, it just means it's available to be purchased. "everyone's got their price" and that price doesn't need to be fair market value.

Yea, but did it sell for that? If so, even rich idiots are still idiots.

I'll happily sell mine for 1/10th your price, and will deliver it anywhere in the Continental US.

Yep, as I told MomHawk when we watched Indecent Proposal for $1M I would have least considered sleeping with Robert Redford myself. I don't have to enjoy it, but $1M is a $1M.

No idea, if it didn't someone is going to resell it for a good chunk over MSRP being a limited production whatever it is. The whole P-Car market has been insane for a while. Porsche was trying to take steps to stop people from getting limited allocations and it just made the dealers the scalpers instead.

rich idiots would solve problems by throwing money at the problem, and they wont stop until the problem is solved.
