Head to RBMS in Hayward. They are a little out of your way, but these guys work on pretty much anything and are honest people!

Thanks for the recommendation. Yeah, Hayward is a bit far for me, but will keep in mind.

No first hand experience but CM Autohaus jumps to mind.

recently got this 2016 BRZ off copart based on everything done to it I assumed a fellow enthusiast on this forum was the owner. Can anyone confirm if they know the previous owner of this car?

You should probably describe what's been done with it. Nothing in this picture is unique.

nothing unique per say just that it isn't stock.. different suspension, exhaust, wheels, interior and exterior upgrades etc. I just want to know if the owner before me is on this forum so I can get more details about the car.

All you've provided is a picture of a white, pre-2017 BRZ with some wheels. There are probably several hundred white BRZ's of that time range in northern California.

I don't recognize it but some brands of the mods might help since the exterior is pretty stock

ok, I'm debating getting a new twin, but I'm seeing a couple of instances where motors had spun bearings after track/autox use, and toyota is being difficult with warranty claims. To make matters worse, it looks like these motors had excessive amount of sealant/RTV applied during assembly, so probably an assembly line issue.

Are there any recommended dealers and/or techs local to the bay that are twin owner friendly, or aren't blanket denying warranty claims because the car was taken to a performance event?
