So I just brushed it off and said it looked like she was waiting in the other lane and nobody was moving into the lane I chose .

I don't like people who cut either but half the reason Costco gas is always crowded is because people take their time moving up in line and picking the pump they want or whatever.

I should be more careful next time tho wouldn't want some dude getting even more pissed off and starting something.
Careful there, spike021, people are getting shot at gas stations for doing less -

Attempted to go to the DMV this morning... forgot it was the last day (and Saturday) of the month.

Line wrapped around outside the building at 8am before the doors opened. Got breakfast instead and washed the cars. After a quick lunch break they should be ready to wax! Then it is time to start looking for some new brake pads!

Task failed successfully.

In CB to fly kites with old freinds, so that's a thing.

Original Pronto Pups in Rockaway Beach is the go-to for noshes when in the area.
No excuses.

Hey, @soundman98, ever mess with this stuff? Mrs. Ultra wants it for a 10' x 13' sewing room she's setting up in the basement. Seems harmless enough.

Should have told her to wait better next time.

I was wondering why the wiring wouldn’t pull from inside the attic.

Junction boxes? What are those?

yeah, a contractor we do a lot of work for routinely does them in the tiled master bathrooms.

he uses a different brand or two, but they're all about the same. i had to look up the specs about 2 months ago, but it seems to have vanished from my search history, so don't have an exact model.

i can't say anything about installation of the heat pad, that's always been on someone else, i think the tile guys usually put it in with their underlayment or grout steps? the wires are always there when i get back!

our scope has always been to get power to the controller location(same as any baseboard heater/wall outlet install), and then install 2 conduits down to the floor from the controller box. 1 is always for the temp sensor, and the other is for the power wires to the pad.

pics were a little dark, being a construction site and all, but the most recent job had 2 different sized pads, so he wanted a 3/4" emt pipe for power wires, and a 1/2" pipe for the sensor.

floor heat box was on the right:

recently, he's started installing 2 temp sensors because they're cheap and it's easier to install the 2 now than tear up the floor if the first one goes bad later.

i don't know much about putting one underneath a wood/laminate floor, all the customers that we do them for are too high end for that, and insist on tile...

I'm not having much luck googling around for a high R-rated underlayment for EVP. Reviewers talk about it but few manufacturers publish numbers. Maybe I should take the hint. I don't want to be a Debbie Downer for her project.

Gotcha. I guess I'll report back on it this coming winter. It's a small enough area that we can afford to spend some stupid money chasing a gimmick.
