Well there you go. Maaco is a trash tier bodyshop. They don't prep and they use combo paint/primers.

I'm fairly sure they're franchised, so quality can differ vastly between individual locations, but I have heard that about them. The location near me has pretty good reviews though.

You have a higher tolerance for arguing with shitty shops and insurance agents than @Takumi788 and I do.

I don’t argue with shitty shops at all I’m just a good shop, honestly all you gotta do in that situation is go to a gold shop and they’ll handle the rest. I have done tons of reworks and have even gotten cars totaled because they were hacked so badly.

If you weren't on the other side of the country I'd visit you in a heartbeat, I'm 0/5 on shops working on my car or a family member's car and I'm just tired of it.

And if by chance you mean 'Gold Class' as in goldclass.com 2/4 shops that worked on my FR-S are listed on that site and I was heavily disappointed in both of them.

I'm gonna do the MY17+ bumper conversion on MY13, so I will need a spray. I have been considering getting the fenders resprayed/blended and maybe the hood resprayed too. Any ideas on the cost? Would it be cheaper if I bring down the parts off the car versus showing up with them on the car?
