JR making chirping sound when A.C. is on

Hi All. For the past few weeks my car has been making a loud chirping nose. It only comes out when my car is in Drive, or in Reverse, and Only comes on when the A.C. is On.

I thought it could be an air compressor. I took the vehicle over for service, but they are saying it may Not be the compressor, because if there was a problem with the air compressor, it would be making different noises. They said they think it could possibly be from my Jackson Racing Supercharger (either a belt or pulley).

I figured how can they be, since the noise, only happens when the A.C. is on. Anyways I e-mailed Jackson Racing to see what they think. Attached is a video of the chirping noise. I don’t think it’s causing any bad issues with the car itself, it’s just an annoying sound. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you think it has anything to do with the A.C. system or with the belt/pulley system that came with my JR supercharger? I am waiting to see what the JR people say about it

Thanks for your advice.

To test if it is the belt, while it is making the noise, spray a little water on the inside of the belt and see if the sound changes. If yes the belt has probably gotten hot and has hardened .

I can hear its faint. Do what ls1AC mentioned. Its either a bad belt, not the correct one or not seated correctly.

Hi all, any update on what this could be / possible fixes? I found this video and its exactly what I'm hearing from my car. Only happens when A/C is on and the car is at idle. Also a JRSC equipped car. Thought it was slippage caused by a bad belt tensioner but I replaced it and noise only has continued to get worse.
