Steering Wheel Creaking Sound
My NRG hub wasn't torqued all the way down but after torquing it to spec somewhere in the steering column there's plastic rubbing and making a squeaking creaking sound.
It sounds like it's coming from the outer case around the column and you can feel vibration when it makes the sound as you're turning the wheel. Has anyone dealt with this issue? I backed off the screw and torqued it a few lbs less but it's still persists. Last edited by Swolzee; 10-06-2022 at 10:32 PM. |
