For those with a 10 series FRS or Series.Blue, how did you find out the # of vehicle within the limited run you received?
Does the dealer just tell you?

Sorry to thread jack @DayV, I'm sure you'll want to know this as well.

I was provided with a VIN and number badge 974 from the dealer a month prior (July 2013) to receiving my car. @nisti

Sadly, Subaru doesn't give you your car's number. Or at least they didn't with the series.blue.

Congrats! Personally not a big fan of the color based on the shape of our cars I feel its just too flat in finish, but to each their own. One thing that I'll say that will suck is if you want to change out to a non OEM spoiler. It was hard enough for me as a WRB owner, HyperBlue cars will HAVE to get their trunks filled and repainted or a new trunk painted.

TRD Spoiler fits into existing holes, no patching. Just need to get the spoiler painted.

Edit: I see you said non oem.
Touché. Through all my research the TRD is the only spoiler to replace the limited one with no extra work or body alterations.

He means there's no non-spoilered trunks in a matching color that you could swap to. A lot of people try to swap their spoilered limited trunk for a color-matched premium naked trunk. Not going to be an option with the s.hb.

The good thing is that the hyperblue appears to be a flat shade with little to no pearl. Makes color matching a lot easier if you do get a new trunk painted

Nope I haven't asked yet, the guy that's helping me said he'd let me know when the car is close to arriving a week ago

What about you?
