The new prius is ugly in person.. And in pictures it's even uglier. Who knows with the new 86?

I'm just happy we go a new refreshed model because I was getting worried that we would have the same model for 6 years which would inflate the market with the same looking cars and make them less rare. Now I know starting around July, August the 1st Gen will begin to get more rare every month ahahah

Actually on the other hand it does have different suspension, (updated) engine or tune, and looks different, might even weigh more.. Is that enough in order for it to be considered a "second gen"?
With some of that criteria then the 15s and 16s were different gens as well.
Takes more than some tweaks to change a gen

First Gen

Second Gen

That is true, but at the same time if the refresh is a total bust then expect them to be rarer

The steering wheel looks huge and almost reminds me of the 2013 Corolla S wheel. My girlfriend has that car and it is super awkward to hold at 9 and 3.

I think it looks alright too, I'll reserve judgement when I see one in person.

Fewer may be a better word. These cars will not be "rare" for decades. By the time they are rare they probably won't be able to be driven unless converted to self drive tech, zero emissions or something silly like that

But then nobody will care anyway. Don't see a huge market for 1975 Gremlins (although I would like one).

Yup, the ass of this car was one of its best features, now they just gave it pancake butt.
