Does OFT Stage 2 work with a different OP

I have JDL UEL headers and a MXP comp rs catback and I was just wondering if a different overpipe would work with the tune

No, the overpipe won't make a difference. It's not even worth replacing if it's still stock honestly.

Agreed about the overpipe and no need to change it. Having said that, answer to OP question is that there will be no issues with changing the overpipe and using the existing tune (if he decides to do it).

Will it work with the tune? Yes

You won't notice a power difference adding the overpipe, but it can be a good "while you are in there" mod if you can grab the cheapest quality option.

Gruppe-s OP are probably best bang for buck OP options since they're identical to Tomei

I meant both; it will work but it isn’t worth it.

When people say the OP isnt worth are they referring to the OP in comparison to the other exhaust components or just in general?

I don’t see why an aftermarket overpipe wouldn’t be worth upgrading from the stock 2.1 diameter if the rest of your aftermarket exhaust is 2.5+
