Name that leak

Whats the typical source of a leak looking like this? Not really a leak, more like seeping. Takes weeks to get to this point after wiping off. but i think its getting worse.
Its hard to tell if its the sensor or the sealant for front cover. This view is looking up from underneath. Any suggestions?

You will get more help if this was posted in the tech section of this site and NOT in the marketplace.

No biggie. Usually it starts at the point where the valve cover, head, and timing cover meet. It's a major deal to pull the engine and re-seal the valve cover. I wouldn't even think of it unless it started leaving marks in my driveway.

Also, please post at least one picture of the item for sale with a note containing your username and "ft86club," or @ichitaka05 will delete the thread.

Why would I want to buy your oil leak? I can be charitable but damn.

Probably the front cover. Unless it's dripping on the exhaust, coming out quickly, or puddling in front of your tire, I'd try to forget it.
Keep tabs on oil loss to see if it's getting worse

I'm assuming he didn't mean to post it in the Market place, so I'll move it

Don't expect one from me. I keep lobbing easy pitches and you don't even swing.

Looking at a leak from the bottom is pointless, wiping it off is pointless. Oil flows down, degrease that engine with engine cleaner until it's clean and dry, then look for the highest point that's moist with oil.

Also, 56K modems aren't a thing anymore and phones haven't had VGA cameras for almost 20 years. You don't need to keep your pics to the size of a Nintendo GBA screen. We can't help with what we can't see.

Is your oil filler cap on tight? Gasket intact?
