Stainless Works, experience?

These guys happen to be 2 minutes from my parents house and was wondering if anyone had experience with them, on any car.

Thinking of having them make a full exhaust for me. UEL, back. They seem to have great reviews on other cars but not much penetration into the Subaru market (boxer engine).

Thanks!

I got quoted 4.5-6k, sight unseen, 4-5 weeks needed with the car.

full exhaust, headers, back. built to how I would like plus extensive dyno time and what not.

I would prefer for: UEL, dual exit, high flow cat, resonator, hopefully ceramic coating, muffler and @ diameter of their recommendation.

They use 304t, lifetime warranty, and their domestics sound MEAN.

Anyone honestly have experience? they seem to have a WRX exhaust, but searching 'wrx stainless works' on google is near useless to find information.

Seems to be a bit pricey and you would be out of the car quite awhile...there are much better options at this point in the FRS/BRZ aftermarket

Bit pricey for a one off.

Not so bad if I get 5 buys. 2k is comparable to any other header + over + mid + muffler.

And being out of the car for 4 weeks would not be terrible if they do it right (I believe they have an in house dyno) and I know the cars they started on prior to moving to the exhaust business (air cooled Porsches, muscle cars, etc) so their craftsmanship is not in question.

All made in USA, etc.

I'm fairly certain I could get any sound I wanted if I decide to go with it.

Not sure you would be doing yourself any favors with a 5k exhaust. For that price you could have FI! Those headers look OK, but they do not match the quality of a custom build $5000 set of headers (from the pics I've seen anyways).

JDL and Nameless look to be higher quality and much cheaper as well.

This is the kind of quality you should expect in that price range:

not saying 4.5k for a one off exhaust, is not outrageous, because i know they can sell it if they so choose, after utilizing my car as a test bed.

however, if you read my other post, i get 5 pre ordered, i'm talking 2k for headers and full exhaust.

that is about 100% better in total price and very much comparable to anything else around.

Plus, if i get 5, I am certain their muffler will be switchable for one's specific order, depending upon sound wanted

My bad. I read it as you would be having them do an exhaust whether or not you get 5 people in on it.
