After reading the @FRS_Ken got them, I copied him and bought this a while ago, but I haven't installed it yet.

Thanks Norm,
yes I followed a DIY but did a poor job on the top portion
of the lights. May replace then next year. Plus I still get
condensation. Not to mention the soldering gun incident.

Quick question to fellow Ottawa winter drivers, where/what do people do during the winter to rinse off their cars of all the salt?

I know pretty much everyone uses Optimum No Rinse for cleaning, but I don't know if theres anything to be done agaisnt salt. I would believe undercoating to be your best bet.

I meant more along the lines of the actual washing process. Do people just use their garden hose in the garage and spray the underbody? or those self wash stations etc.

Thanks for the info on Optimum No Rinse, will be picking some of that up.

I just make a point of going through the touchless wash every couple of weeks to try and keep it mostly clean.

Just wash mine on those warm days throughout the winter by hand at the house, also have crowned underneath. to nervous to go through drive thru washes as the car seems to be getting buffeted by the initial spray. Also stay as far back from salt trucks as possible. The sound the salt makes hitting the car seems so much more amplified than other vehicles I have owned.

Are there any good local places to pick up optimum no rinse?

Are the prices pretty comparable between online and local?

Thanks in advance?
