I love the sound of the quiet catback. I wonder what it would sound like with my lg90.

I prefer the quiet side also. I had a catless Uel header, stock front pipe and a q300 cat back. That was noisy in my opinion. I recently went the turbo route G25-550 El header with 3" dump, 2,75"overpipe and 2.75" high flow catted front pipe with the same 2.75" Invidia Q300 cat back. It`s so quiet now.

I have had the Q300 and CSGxMXP catbacks in a shopping cart more than once. If I knew they would flow 400-500whp without a lot of backpressure, I'd probably get whichever is quieter. I actually find it unbelievable that car with poly engine mounts, diff mounts, and an upgraded transmission mount is so quiet on the interior. The Ace catback doesn't seem to be on their site anymore If it's the one with the center exit, I'm not a big fan of the look though

I wonder if @CSG Mike can assure me one of these would support 450whp..

It didn't have many takers, probably because of the look. Certainly delivered on its goal.

Are you sure catbacks are a bottleneck at those levels? I'm almost positive I have heard LJ from full blown say that they made well beyond 400 on the stock catback.

Another dead quiet option to consider is Greddy Supreme SP. I'm not making anywhere near the power you are, but at full throttle it's barely louder than stock 2.5 " throughout catless.

With non recirculating wastegate it shouldn't be an issue. Mine recirculates, so there's a notable difference in spool. I think it'd MAKE the power, but the response is abysmal.
Hmm, the Supreme SP looks decent too. HMM. Thank you for the suggestion

Put the catback back on today, did the first synthetic oil change with Motul! No more garbage oil.

Some photos of the underside for fun, and thermometer read about 110 inside the garage...
Yes, I painted my entire stock catback to help it not rust out

Your wickers are in the wrong position. They mount from the under hood side. The vents sit flat and even on top.
Here`s the install guide.

Car is going to actually get tuned today, wish me luck!

I put the stock shift knob back on, there's just something so good about it. I have my original frs knob in my 2019 impreza and have learned that I really like leather

You tried with JDL autodesign?
Maybe they could help

Maybe, I'll see what he's up to.

The JDL intercooler is in no way capable of supporting the flow I want. We stopped at 330whp at 17psi because intake temps go from 100f to 150f by redline on every pull.

So... time for a new intercooler. For now, we have it bleeding off boost as intake temps rise above 130f. 330whp is still fast as fuck compared to stock, extremely happy
