She's got a rougher version of Robert Plant's voice. Oh wait, it's a dude. Anyway, Plant not only had a smoother voice, he could sing in more than one way, even in the same song. The instrumentalists make an excellent homage band, though.

Part of the same weather system we are getting I'm sure.

2-5cm of snow predicted here but it hasn't even started yet. I've never seen so much salt on the roads. Our parking lot at work is actually a solid 1/8" of salt/brine that has dried solid.

Could be an entertaining drive home... we got 2 cm last Sunday and it caused a 15 car pileup on the freeway.

So your wife's hairdresser is identifying as a woman now. Good to know.

Well better than me I decided to get new prescription glasses again after 12 years. Found out my prescription got worse in one eye and better in the other.

The dude sold me on these stupid Essilor blue light filter lenses and besides everything looking pee yellow, they fucked up my right lens making my eye hurt. Spent all of my insurance allowance for vision right there. Still waiting for those to come back from a redo.

Then I took a gamble and got Zeiss lenses (also blue light filter ~ big mistake) made using my sunglasses frame. Great no pain and no yellow but now when I drive at night all incoming headlights have these two blue dots like moving targets. I'm out couple hundred bucks my own money there.

Now I gotta wait for the new policy to kick in next month to redo the 2nd pair without the dumb blue light filters. I don't even get why the Japanese loves this stuff. Maybe Hoya is the best but they don't have a lab here (only Essilor and Zeiss have their own labs in TO).

That and I just cracked one of my lower molars split in half right in the middle on Sunday eating fried chicken. Got it pulled the next day cuz it got so infected and I'm looking at the cost of a new Grand Seiko for a tooth implant.

I'm angry AF all week sitting on the couch eating ice cream I didn't even goto work.

Glasses part, you kinda lost me other than it's costing you few hundred.

Tooth part, I feel you... kinda. Few yrs back, when I was eating a grilled chicken, it broke my filling. Thank god, it wasn't like yours. Feels like older we get, all the stuff goes wrong in our bodies and instead of spending extra money on stuff we want to spend, we spend on stuff we have to spend.

But look it this way, at least you're spending money on stuff you need/require... vs me, last night, I've spent WAY MORE than I should be. These terms like "limited time" or "Special edi" tickles me and makes me want it badly. Just say, I've spent enough to buy mid grade coilovers... & still didn't get what I wanted.

You are right it really sucks. I feel like after we hit 30 every 5 years afterwards something goes wrong. I don't know how @humfrz manages to be like 3000 years old.

I used to had to have everything limited or special edition (I did a few semiotics courses in school it's all manipulative I should know better lol). Then one day I finally realized since everybody is a hypebeaster and everything pretty much now is limited or special edition, the standard stuff becomes the exclusive item since nobody cares about them anymore anyway. So I'm back to normal.

Things are kinda quiet here on the home front tonight. We cut the "Friday night" for the granddaughters at ma-ma and pa-pa s short because of the weather and ma-ma is sick. Yep, she is feeling soo bad that she canceled her hair appointment today - so, you know she is REALLY sick.

I got her all med-ded up, so hopefully she will feel better in the morning or I'll take her down to the tribal medicine man or the vet.

Quiet here too. Ashe thinks she has the flu, so she stayed home from work today (very rare for her), and I'm just sitting in my man-cave watching NCIS and lurking forums.

I'd gone back to work at the pet store, different location than the first time. The manager I'd left under the first time came to work at my store, and I'm really misserable again. I really need to get off my ass and print out my resume. Find something new.
