I am suggesting that 8 out of 10 of their last Canadian press releases are about electric/hybrid vehicles.

Even their race cars in the "Vision For The Future"!

Draw from it what you will.

Probably but notice the very distinctive trend in their announcements and reveals.

Trying to get the clickbaits to say "insiders say next gen will be hybrid and you guys are ruining it for me!

I’ve been saying the 2nd gen has been hybrid for years! Beautiful clean hybrid, the best, cleaner than - and fast too. You know I have a cousin -very intelligent- he has a hybrid, and his Camero is the fastest in the country- hey it’s true. No Chayna parts, only American, tremendous, but the hybrid that’s from japan, because the Chaynese are really good at that stuff I guess- but American is faster you know. It is.

Hydrogen is definitely a better answer for long haul trips.

Sustainability is the key salvation of hydrogen.
This article (https://www.bbc.com/future/article/2...hydrogen-power) really shows its promise.

I was reading a similar article this morning. I think this also gives a realistic view of the conversion away from ICE.

OH! Too bad there hadn't been anybody here saying this (almost to the word) for the two months.

Wouldn't have mattered though since there would have been at least one Toyota fanboi (Not Opie) that would insist there were no problems and that everything would start right up without issue.

And for everybody's info that article was written mid April. The plants did NOT start up May 4th and many are not expected to even get things really rolling until July even if they do start bringing people back this week. This makes all of the statements made in the article even more urgent since a month has gone by since it was written.

Yes I am pissy on this subject since I had several people tell me I was wrong or even outright lying when I expressed my concern about this topic!

Yes, even the plants that are currently able, and wanting to open are having difficulty because the supply chain is broken.

And you are always pissy so there is that....LOL

I only seem to be always pissy.

The supply chain will be the biggest issue. We have been making service parts for the last couple of weeks but even that can be touch and go since we need a regular supply of inserts for our cutting operations.

Amen Brother!

Not directly related but sort of, the situation with Hertz on the verge of bankruptcy isn't going to help. Right now, their survival may depend on them flooding the market with used cars to raise capital.

Combine that with them not taking orders from manufacturers, you know its got to have an impact. Hertz probably buys 200,000 cars a year based on their fleet size and replacing them after two years in the fleet.
