Oh yea...last week, I woke up super early so I decided to collect more data for my engine tune. A cop appeared out of nowhere when I was slowing down after a 3rd gear pull.........at an empty office park........at 7 in the morning on a sunday out of all places. I usually pre-scope the area to make sure no cops are lurking anywhere.

Luckily he let me go after I apologized profusely and explained what I was doing. He wrote me a ticket for a minor infraction instead which is better than excessive speeding which wouldve got me a $500 ticket, 3 pts docked, 7 day car impoundment, immediate 1 week license suspension, and all the fees involved getting my car and license back which is around $2k total.

3rd gear tops out around 120ish km/h but I was slowing down so I was around 90ish km/h. Speed limit is 50 km/h.

I got caught once 3 yrs ago when I first got the frs (it was around midnight-ish on an empty highway that transitions to a normal road) so I feel your pain. If this cop wasn't so lenient, I would've had to fork up another $2k plus a longer driving suspension and an even longer and more expensive 'driver risk' premium tagged onto the yearly fee.

What is the offset of those rims? Looks great with the spacers.

Too much heat in that area now...I think the bicylists are onto me. Despite being a constant magnet for cops with my driver's license constantly in jeopardy, I feel like I'm in a need for speed game constantly finding quieter industrial areas to hoon the car. I blame the inner rebel in me constantly thinking I can bend the rules.

Thanks.
Not a great fit at +45 initially but those spacers really did the job. I may swap out the front one for a 15mm though.
As much as I'd like to just go out and get a wheel that fits perfect with no spacers, I really didn't feel like spending another
$1500+ in new wheels and tires for something that fit better being also little lighter and wider.
I think I have crossed the threshold for being "old fuddy duddy" since I don't just make nutty impulse buys as easily now.

Installed my Billetworkz 'Purple Cosmic' shift knob and e-brake button - love them! The texture, weight, and feel are all amazing.

I'm trying to see if I can get a matching boot retainer made - otherwise I'll just order a generic one online, so the boot looks a bit sad right now.

Mounted and installed my new track rubber, so I can finally join #teammeaty. Standard 17x9 +35 RPF1s with Maxxis VR-1 255/40/17 rubber.

With my DD alignment, the tires rub the front fender when turning and hitting a bump. But as these are track wheels and I increase camber for the track, I think they'll be just fine.
