That is conjecture on my part. I will talk to a rep about it before I order.

I doubt that Tire Rack will pay for the return from Germany

But tirerack might be used as another information source to check clearance.

if enkei t6s 18x8 +45 “fits”, does that mean t6s 18x8.5 +45 will fit too with a bit more clearance?

Maybe, but the "wider => more clearance" logic doesn't work for RPF1s:

yes that's right. +45 offset on both front and back. All four wheels were less than $1000 delivered. Purchased from Vivid Racing in texas. Very happy with them. Lots of comments at car events. See my separate post on touch-up paint since Enkei won't sell it directly.

I am running a 3mm spacer up front to clear the calipers. Car is mildly lowered on Enkei coil overs. The fronts do not rub ever. The rears occasionally rub on extreme cornering when also fully compressed (i.e. bumps or steep elevation change while cornering. I hear them maybe once a month.)

Currently running MPSS tires size 245/45 at the rear, but this size was discontinued so I'll be going to a 245/35 MPSS or or R888 next...

A recommendation: buy a spare wheel in your size at the same time you buy the primary four; the colors will match better (since they painted at same time) and you can swap one out for repairs if one gets damaged.

Oh, just noticed you have non-Brembo calipers, so not directly relevant to this thread. My bad!
However, many folks here might consider using 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the rear since 17x9s don't fit in the front but they do look much better (common opinion).

Thanks for your reply.

WedsSport SA10-R 18x9.5 45mm clears the brembo brakes. There's also another user here where the same wheels i have clears the TRD 6/4pot brakes.

You do need coilovers though, the wheels will interfere with the stock suspension. As of this post I have 245/40/18. Debating if i want 265/40 or 265/35.
