This is the first car I've ever taken out a loan on, and Dad helped me out a lot by arranging the purchase with the dealer and the loan through my bank (a small one back home, not one of the huge national banks you can go to everywhere).

A couple weeks ago, I took a couple weeks of leave and flew home to see my family, hang out with friends, and of course show off the FR-S. Over the past few days, I drove it all the way back to Las Vegas, and had zero problems with the car.

So, yeah. It's like driving a go-kart, but without the wind noise and issues my old Miata had. I'm head-over-heels in love with this thing, and look forward to enjoying this car for many years!

p.s.: This is my first time in years getting involved in any kind of forum, and I'm not the greatest storyteller, so apologies if this wall of text is tedious.

Just got my 2016 FR-S in SoCal! Been wanting one since I saw it in 2012 and finally pulled the trigger after getting a great deal from Scion getting discontinued. I've had a Mustang and Mazda 3 for years and can't wait to start making this one my own.

I'm from Taiwan, but also grew up in New Zealand and had previously worked in the automotive industry for over 6 years, ranging from Japanese brands to European and Italian cars...

Thank you in advance as there are loads of info to read up on and help me brainstorm some ideas on what mods I want to do to my new 86....

I still own a AE92 FXGT in stock form, want to keep it as original as possible while I have another AE111 20V Blacktop with lots of mods as that is my track car in NZ...

What's up guys. I'm a new owner of a 2015 Scion FR-S! By new I mean I've had it for about 4 months now. This is also my first time ever joining a forum so I am very new to this. It took me about 15 minutes to learn how to upload pictures. Anyways, I've done a few things to my car already and I am beyond loving it more and more everyday! Ive got images below of how she looks up to date. It started out as the flat base stock model brand new off of the lot. If you plan on driving that machine in the winter, you might consider getting some winter tires ......or, come first snow/ice, your car will act like a hog on ice .....

I was driving my brand new 2016 Scion FRS with Blizzak winter tires they grip pretty good bang for my bucks it was so much fun to drive even I was slipping left and right I was able to control it no problem. Even uphills and downhills heavy snow using that snow button option helps + winter tires. I am happy with my FRS baby#2.
