Questions before buying a FR-S.

When I test drove this 2013 FRS I noticed I could feel the gears moving in the shift nob. Also, is it normal for the clutch on it to be really high? It's not like other cars i've driven that are in the middle of the space. My current car is right next to the floor but the FRS is really high.

Car also has 9k miles.

Hello Seeeon and welcome to .... The Forum......

The shifter lever is almost in direct contact with the gears. It doesn't go through any linkage, so you "feel" the gears.

Yes, the clutch engagement point is relatively high on the FR-S.

If in doubt about the 9,000 mile car (does it look like it's been "messed with"?), you may wish to pay a bit more and buy a new one.
