Ordered my BRZ on March 1st, 2013 in Moorhead, MN and picked it up on March 21st with 6 miles on it.

I come from the Honda world, as I have a 2004 RSX-S that I've modded for track days:
http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=710729

My plans for this car will also be Autocross and track days.

Here are some videos from 2014 Race season so far:

Road Course compilation from PG2k14.1 at Brainerd International Raceway

The Day it arrived off the truck

Filling it up for the first time, then back to work. I had the dealer specifically not take the plastic off OR wash it. If anyone is going to scratch my paint, it's not going to be the kid at the dealership getting paid $7/hr. It's going to be me.

Driving it home from work.

Safe at home, plastic removed. Yes. That is how much snow we have in Fargo, ND. STILL. Ugh.

BFF's

What do you do 72 hours after buying a brand new car? Take it apart, of course.

Stock Intake Removed.

Perrin Crank Pulley Installed. Weight savings is equivalent to removing 100lbs from the vehicle.

Perrin Inlet Tube and Cold Air Intake Installed.

All washed and ready for a month or so nap (While waiting for snowy, salty roads to stop being snowy and salty.

Someone please come buy one of my vehicles. I have too many.

Thanks!

My next mod will be the stereo. Just ordered it today.
It will be:

JL C5-653 3-Way Components
JL 10W3v3-2 Sub
JL XD500/3 Amp
Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD (pulled from my RSX)

After that, it's wheels and tires which will be:

Enkei RP03 17x8
Dunlop ZII's 245/40/17

And then Suspension, KWv3's and misc bushings.

The stereo sounds like fun! And same with those wheels! The RP03 look really good on our cars!

Though, just out of personal curiosity, why Dunlops? (I'm just trying to get more info on the different tires people are getting so I can make an informed choice [so far I'm edging towards GoodYear])

I've used the Dunlop Star Spec's for the last two years in AutoX and the big track, and I absolutely love them. The general consensus of tests are saying that the ZII's improve in almost every way. The ZII's and RS-3's are pretty much the big name in AutoX tires right now.

Please Post some pics when you get the RP03's. I am looking at these exact wheels. I love the look of them while still being lighter then stock at a decent price. What finish are you getting?

Sure thing. They are going to be ordered on the 30th. I like the bright silver finish best. I currently have these wheels for my rsx.... And I would have just kept them, but the bolt pattern is different.

I saw your car at Brainerd this past weekend on the course. How'd you do? From what I could see, it looked like you were really flat around the turns.

Nice car by the way!

Thanks! It was AWESOME. First big track event I've taken it to.

Got Third place in RWD-Limited on the Standing Start Shootout, and 14th out of 101 cars in autox.

So, feeling pretty good about that. The car performed very well. Wheels and tires made the biggest difference, I just wish I would have had time to install my coilovers before the event.

Anyways, we'll see how it goes in Sept at PG2013.2! Come find me if you're there.
