If you're trying to protect the paint a clear bra is going to be your best bet.

The old rubber/vinyl bras of the 80's and 90's are long gone and with good reason. They did just as much damage as they prevented. From rubbing the paint, to moisture and debris being caught beneath them...

You could always find someone to clear bra your car. You don't have to do all of it, I know people that just clear bra'd the front of their car only because of the rock chips.

I wish I did it for mine, but I already have a couple of rock chips and it makes me sad

Conventional leather bras for cars pretty much are gone since the 90's. Only going to find clear bra stuff and if you go that route, get Xpel Ultimate.
