In a sense no, the VSC sport mode is part of traction control doesn't effect the engine in any way other than the traction control letting the rear get to a certain slip angle then cutting in.

The sport mode in the AUTO is its own button, right below it is snow mode it only works when the car is in drive and not being manually shifted and just changes the shift points.

Interesting, good to know. So I guess you could say the manual driver is it's own sport mode since we control the shift points.

Exactly, and on the auto the manual mode does the same

I get about 27-28 mpg with MT, about half freeway, half in city.
1-2 at 2k rpm, all other gears 3k rpm except for 4-6 depending on how fast I need to accelerate

I've had 36 once. A long road-trip with cruise set at seventy with a full tank of 0 Ethanol fuel.

I've had 32-34 with some regularity on long rides with normal pump gas, and I've steadily had 30 when I was doing regular long commutes.

The lowest I've ever had was 19-20 over the course of two track days at Texas World (albeit with higher octane gas).

But that doesn't really tell us anything, since there's a 2.4 gallon reserve. If he runs the tank down close to empty, that's 25.6 MPG. If he stops immediately once the light comes on, that's 31.7 MPG. Saying "I get X mileage per tank" is almost as meaningless as comparing insurance rates.

Once the light comes on, I search for a gas station. Highest mpg I've gotten was 34.4.

22 city shifting 2.2-2.5k and 32 hwy shifting 3.5-5.5 depending on gear this week.

TRD intake lowered my mpg a tad.

Shifting 2-2.2k wiuthout a/c it goes up about 3-5mpg

Stock, I got 36MPG measured on the freeway.
Modified, I got 33MPG measured on the freeway.
At the track, I get around 9.5MPG measured.

I typically get 20-21 mpg per tank, based on fuelly. That's with a stop-n-go 4 mile/15 minute commute on the freeway in the morning and a 20-25 minute commute on surface streets in the evening.

Driving up to the bay I'll get 32-33 cruising at 70.

Stock, just an apexi drop-in filter.

I don't. I run Torque with a bluetooth adapter and a screen full of extra gauges. One of those gauges reads remaining fuel in gallons. When the low fuel light comes on, I look over at my Torque screen and realize I have ~70 miles or so left on the tank. Then I keep driving.

Doing this gives me options. If I'm running late to an appointment that is 40 miles away, I don't have to make myself even more late by stopping for fuel. I can pass up overpriced gas or gas with pig urine in it until I find a top tier station or a reasonable price.

The lowest I've gone with it was .5 gallons.

Yeah, that fuel light comes on pretty early. The most I've ever put in the tank was just short of 12 gallons, and that was driving around with the light on for some time. Like Extrashaky mentioned, I know there are at least 60 miles left, if not more for normal driving.
