Thank you for finding this thread and replying to my concerns. I will try again an ask for my brother's asistance this time. I will loosen all the bolts and start tightening from the engine side as you say. Any other recomendation? Like do you recommend hanging just two hangars or do all 4 while i tighten?

BTW I am extremley happy with this. The quality and looks are top notch and the sound is absolutley impressive. Thank you for this as well. I have no problem paying well for a well made product, and you delivered!
Props to you

My biggest recommendation would be to do it on a lift, it is very difficult to do it on the floor with jack stands and a jack, you are given a lot more leverage when on a lift. Next thing is to make sure all the hangers are in while you tighten the exhaust

I had the same issue with my GRiP and it was only possible with 2 people. We actually had 3 (2 of us to make sure it was aligned while one of us was under the car positioning it). I had the exhaust on all the hangers and just played with the muffler section until they were aligned properly and tightened those bolts down.

Well I dont have a lift, so jack stands will have to do. Ill try it again, this time all the way from the engine side. The only thing I adjusted last time was the middle section with the part going to the midpipe fully bolted down. Thnks! Crossing fingers

Update: so I finally gave in and went to a muffler shop to adjust it... Try as they may the right side still hung lower. And so I looked at older pictures with the stock exhaust and found the problem: stock exhaust also hung lower on the right side. So the shop just banged one of the hooks holding the exhaust and presto. Perfect. Thanks for your help!

The DT-S is about a few pounds lighter than stock but very minimal

Sorry to bring this thread back to life but, our DT-S system is 4.5" tip while the EVO3 is 4".

Anyone else looking to buy an exhaust?

Give me a call or email.

starting from engine back means I gotta unbolt everything from the pipe right?

Holy thread resurrection Batman, but I just installed this exhaust over the weekend and felt like chiming in on how sweet this exhaust sounds... the tone is deep AF! And it looks amazing too.

Combined with the uncatted Perrin front pipe that I already had, it's pretty damn loud. I'm quite sure I wake up the entire street with cold starts, so I may have to throw the factory front pipe back on soon to see if that tones it down a bit.

Despite being a loud exhaust, it's quite easy to shut it up on the freeway with the right throttle input. Hums a bit under light acceleration but I wouldn't describe it as "drone". WOT is audible sex.

According to the butt dyno, car also feels torquier down low, but not sure if that has something to do with the Perrin inlet hose I installed at the same time..

One tip sticks out further than the other (only noticeable to me), I think this may have to do with the Perrin front pipe being slightly shorter than the factory one (took a bit of force to mate it to the midpipe), so I should be able to correct that when I swap out the FP.

Overall, great system @ARK Performance

Update for anyone who cares: Putting the stock front pipe back on toned it down a bit, and now it is just a nice deep tone without the obnoxious cold-start. The tips are now perfectly aligned as well: I was using the factory donut gasket on the Perrin front pipe which added a bit of extra clearance between that and the midpipe.

Any comments on how an unresonated midpipe + UEL manifold makes this sound?
