8.5 all around so you can rotate tires. You can always add a spacer. 9.5's don't fit well without coilovers.

Spacers are for in case it rubs right? Do you know if it will rub?

No rub with springs unless you buy crazy big tires. Air suspension is a whole 'nother game.

Spacer not needed for the fronts at x8.5 +33. You can also use them in the rear for that staggered look.

Yea this sounds like a reasonable approach. So ...

When adding spacers should I do it in a balanced way front to back? ie, if I add 10mm up front should I do the same in the rear?

You are just changing your track width and whatever handing properties come with it. You can do whatever you like.

Stock studs are only good for 3-5mm slip on spacers. Some say 5mm is too much. Up to you what you feel is safe. Any more you need a bolt on spacer or longer studs.

Okay, so im looking to buy a set of Avid1 AV50, preferably 18x8.5. The only offsets they offer are +30, +35. My question is, what offset would be best and what would be a good tire size without going less than 225. I will be running stock height. Thanks

hey guys, need some help.
I bought a set of 18x9.5 + 38 kiwamis. I am not sure what tyres to get.
I was thinking 235/40 fronts and 245/35 rears.
Would this be fine on stock suspension? Would I need coilovers ?
I have been told too many different things IRL so I am so confused right now..

Got it all sorted. Went 235/40 all round. Sits really good but pokes alittle.

+35 is the better choice for stock height.
You pretty much only have three tire choices. 225/40, 235/40 or 245/35. Look up a tire size calculator and compare to stock. 225 is a slight stretch, 235 slightly too tall, 245/35 best overall choice.

hello! new to the forum... im pretty sure this question has already been asked but i just want to make sure... can i fit 18x9.5 +38 offset with 255/38/18 tires on them on a stock frs suspension? will i have rubbing issues or will i be good?

I'm a complete noob to this.

This is what I believe the following setup looks like:

Will it fit? Could I use spacers to get rid of the additional offset from flush?

edit: semi-answering, still looking for more information. The 9.5" wheels won't fit with the springs, but can with coilovers.
