Canadian Stock Allocations

For some context, my dealer at Downtown Toyota in Toronto says he does not recall receiving a single Premium 6MT yet. I don't have any way of validating this though. They also claim to be one of the highest-volume dealers in Ontario...


I was hoping the recent run of 6MT Premiums for the Canadian market that Rustyoid speculated about would bring some news, but I ordered September 2021 and haven't heard a peep.

FYI reminder,

In this thread the last member who had their order (for white premium MT) filled, had ordered the car DECEMBER of 2021. This was last month... There are situations where a dealer may get the allocation towards a later order, before a dealer with a newer order. But it wont happen very frequently at all.

And as discussed earlier in this thread a year wait time is on the lower end of the wait times with most of the popular hybrids and trucks being over twice that time.

This is not going to change for a while yet so extreme patience is required.

Exact same deal w/ me, they just told me they have no GR86s scheduled to arrive for the remainder of the year at this point. So at this point the earliest I can see me getting one is March which brings it to the 8 month mark, which is consistent to what that evto site was estimating. At this point, just gotta remain patient as best as possible lol.

Joined up to try to stay sane during the wait. Ordered Nov.12 in Kelowna. Premium 6sp tred. Msrp no add ons. We'll see if I have the patience to see this through. Luckily not pressed for a vehicle but still.....

Oh thats suck.

Put my order in April and got my car in the middle of augut (Spinelli)
Got lucky i must say.

I run my car in winter, so if you see a white gr86 in montreal it might be me.

I'll keep an eye open for you. If ever you think you're being followed by a dark grey 4Runner, lifted, winch, roof-rack, tractions boards, etc.... it might be me.

6-8 weeks I believe. They should give you an ETA. When did you order? (which province?)

I’m in Ontario. Put a deposit down in June, just got allocated today the GR86 10th anniversary AT. Arrived end of Jan beginning of Feb
