In stock treuno MT Premium in BC. Is currently listed on their website and is showing available in the dealer search.

https://www.pentictontoyota.com/vehi...sale_class=new

TRUE MSRP PRICING, with freight, pdi, A/C and tire levy is $36,435 plus applicable tax. Almost every dealer in Canada has a Admin fee of ~$400. These guys have an admin fee of 400 and a processing fee of 500 ... They have it listed about 2k over with an * excluding these fees. So 3k over.

Oh and Rustyoid, thanks for all these updates they are truly appreciated.
Yea my sales rep told me 4-6 months at the time! But alas, things change and the supply chain did not improve so here we are. We can always hold on to hope and rely on Rustyoid being an absolute gem

@Rustyoid or anyone for the matter, my purchase agreement includes:

Base price: $34,490
Freight: $1,380
AC, tire tax, standard fees: $131.97

As well as:

"Pre-Delivery Expenses" : $440
"Registration Program" : $399

Any way of getting around any of these 2?

As you appear to know the first are normal charges for any new vehicle. Not exactly sure what the other two are for but you should get them clarified (if they haven't told you already). I bet the "registration program" are those stupid stickers they slap on for "security". Many dealers will tell you they are required by law. They are NOT. But... If it is a mater of them not making the deal without it then you are stuck with it.
Keep in mind that in the current market (especially with these cars) the dealership hold all the cards so the standard "give me the deal I want or I walk" ploy just won't work. They will wave bye bye as you go through the door and call the next guy on the waiting list.

To add to Tcoat's comments, those extra fees are a great way for the dealership to get around the rules here about having to sell at the advertised price, in order to fatten their profit.

No. Those are dealer add ons and must be included in all advertised prices. They can not add ANY fees that are not included in the posted price no matter where it shows up. The only thing they don't include in the advertised price are government fees such as taxes, licensing and such.
In a normal market fees like that can be negotiated out (I have declined that "security fee" on almost every new car I ever bought) but right now if you want the car you may be stuck with them.

With the real world prices right now at $34K even with those fees on top it is a really good deal!

Thanks for the feedback. I was actually able to get a few hundred off sticker (price stated above didn't include the discount) because an acquaintance referred me to the dealer and he got a discount included so they honored a similar discount for me. Nothing to write home about but yeah, I never bought a non Honda before and was lucky to have a family member who got me the cars at cost and basically without any fees.

With that price level I would go for an MX-5 GS-P with sport package.

Dealers are starting to receive their monthly allocations towards orders.

I won't be able to see these as they are allocated in the customer's names. But I have just received allocations for other vehicles that are Japan built. Usually Toyota Canada will get the build lists from the Japan factories altogether and then allocate all together. So theres a good possibility some GR86 orders will be filled by the end of the week.
