Shaved and painted gloss black. Getting clear bra next week after the paint cures.
Interesting. Looking forward to pics from a few steps back, and a little to the side as well.

Cost?

Will try to get some this weekend, hopefully tomorrow. I got a hook up. I originally paid about $150, but that was after a Black Friday special of 40% off services. It was supposed to just be the vinyl overlay, but with this paint AND clear vinyl overlay, I wouldn't be surprised it if cost near $500 to do. Depends on the shop. My buddy is COMMITTED to quality work, so he obsessed over it all weekend and week. He even looked at various pics of the BRZ STI Concept's front bumper to keep it as close to that as possible. I kinda wanted a lighter black, maybe a dark, dark gray finish since that's what the STI Concept's bumper looks like to me, but this is probably better for the direction I'm taking this car anyways. It's fun having a shared vision and watching it become executed beyond my imagination!

Was suppose to get my Weathertech mats today but the package required a signature. Now I got to wait the whole weekend for the next delivery attempt on Monday!

I did the responsible thing and bought myself cleaning supplies: quick detailer, glass cleaner, rinseless wash spray, regular wash, tire spray, sponges, wash mit, microfiber all purpose towels, blue paper towels, microfiber drying towel, tire brush, interior protectant spray, interior wipes, bug sponge, and bucket.

Since I don't have a polisher, I didn't get polishing or claybar compound. I got stuff for both quick cleaning and for if I go to a coin operated "wash it yourself" place, where I'll rinse with a sprayer, so I only need one bucket for soap. The "quick cleaning" supplies will stay in the trunk.

Eew. I think the cheapest I'd risk is BaysonR.

Replica will never fit like OEM.
