I finally got around to installing my front Godspeed sway bar and went to my first local FRS/BRZ meet. I'm a huge meet whore and still go to all of my rotary meets (owned nothing but rotary powered cars for over 10 years).

Anyways, my rear Godspeed sways and AVO's Bar Reinforcement will go on tomorrow.

If the car is still close to being 'new', you can even just use a heat gun/hair dryer and slowly pull them off.

Installing a K&N filter. The thicker part goes towards the front bumper and the flatter part towards the engine right?

correct, guessing you mean the more exposed filter side that shows more of the filter fins.

Yep, figured that was the way. It does seem to make the car slightly more responsive. I was pulling a child off my leg when I pulled out the stock and wasn't paying attention to which way the filter was in. Thanks!

Finally back to driving the BRZ after a week long vacation driving a rental minivan.

Is it blasphemy to say I kind of miss the power & torque of the mighty V6 in the Sienna? lol.

Haven't actually done it yet, but I did just order a new intake hose! Was leaning towards the Perrin for a while, but ended up going with the aluminum SuperTek instead. Got a good price from FT-86 SpeedFactory!

I just found 3 of them in mine and the funny part is its just been in the time I've been in Ohio. One of them made more than a chip though, its like it dug into the paint and scratched it as well. Only got one in my 1200 miles cross country trip. Whelp time to order some touch up paint and break out the fine paint brushes...when its warmer, and I can wash all this damn salt off lol

Yeah I forgot where most were on my FRS. I used Dr Color Chip for most of them. It's going to happen. So it might as well happen now.
