It rained here in SoCal, so this evening I went to a parking lot where we used to autox (it's at a showground and basically sits empty during the week) and played with my car in the wet. The surface at the lot is quite coarse, so its much less slippery than normal roads, which I think lets me approximate what the car might feel like in the rain on a normal road surface using good tyres. Really pleased with the handling: car feels incredibly neutral. There's a tiny bit of understeer by default, but it's easy to rotate the car on the throttle if you want to, although the computers don't seem to appreciate big slides even when turned off (the TC light was going nuts during really big slides).

Driving on normal road surfaces is hilarious though: the stock tyres turn this car into a snow-driving simulator as soon as the roads get wet. It's kind of fun at night when the roads are empty, but stopping distances are kind of atrocious and the car is sooooooo slippery. You can really live the dream when the roads are empty though-- tooling around sliding all over the place at 25mph and 25% throttle and doing silent burnouts at every intersection :P
