Drove my FRS today. Discovered that a lost cleaning company van can magically transform a stretch of twisty road that you normally wish went on forever, but always seemed too short, into a stretch of twisty road that seems to go on forever, but you wish was shorter. Did not crash.

Drove my FR-S out to get some fast food fish this evening. Seated outside was a group of young guys eyeballing my car as I was leaving. The street out front was dry and no cars in sight so I cranked it up real good in first and second and my nameless muffler did its thing. I'm sure I impressed those kids.

This car can "make me" go from 75 years old to 16 years old in a matter of seconds. I did not crash.

Drove to work today. Noticed it is time for my annual removal of the rear seat delete and get back there and clean the inside of the rear window.

Did not crash.

Btw, the manual says to use only water to clean the inside rear window because of the defrost wires. How the hell do you clean a window with a year of grime on it with only water?

No @Tcoat , I haven't told this story before.

However, almost the same thing happened to me AGAIN!

YES, I was backing up, out of my driveway..

Folks, please understand, when I back out (and up) out of my driveway, I have to angle the FR-S so it doesn't high center. Also, I have to watch and make sure my front end doesn't hit this 70 ft. pine tree that is about 8" off the side of the driveway.

So, with the car slanted up and sideways the blind spot is REALLY a blind spot, no matter which way I twist my head...

In addition, we live just beyond a blind curve and some ass holes feel is a curve on a road race circuit ..

So, I get the car part way out in the street and here comes Mario Andretti. OK, I see him but I didn't see the ass wipe that was drafting him. The jerk lays on his horn and swerves, just missing me.

So, my new strategy is to wait for the first vehicle to pass by, then count to 5 before I continue to pull out.

THE END and I did not crash.

This is why I always back in to park.

Also, new giant scratch on the rear quarter panel that I have no idea where it came from (best guess, jerk with a cart at Publix parking lot yesterday), did not crash.

^^ those shopping carts can ding you car up real good. I walk the extra 100 feet in every parking lot trying to avoid that exact scenario.

I drove through a torrential downpour this morning on my way into work at 5:30am. Visibility resembled a thick fog, and the roads were flooded with water.

Perfect for highway driving at 100kmh.
I did not crash.

Colleague and I decided to head down to the Pearl district for lunch. He suggested I drive because my car is more fun than his.

Made some extra noise in second gear. Took some tight corners extra fast. Extra fun achieved. Did not crash.

I saw three twins on the 60 mile stretch of rural farm highway that is my work commute. These cars are rare around here. I resisted the urge to honk and flash my headlights and wave like a maniac like we're best friends. Did not crash.
