i got stuck in the middle of a pitched driveway. the two sides were pitched together near 1" over a 24" span. i never even noticed it was pitched until i got stuck in the center of it. no amount of throttle, gear selection, rocking, turning the front wheels, or brake technique did anything. i might as well had been on rollers.

most embarrassing pone call i've ever had to make to get towed out...

My bro-in-law from NE was in TN for a few days. Took him for a ride on the dragon, did not crash.

I think it's been a year since my last close encounter with a kangaroo.

Anyway, 110km/h, roo jumps in front. Big brembo brakes do their thing, I lose about 50km/h before getting to him with ABS going bop bop bop, swerve the rest. Continue on my way.

I may have driven over his tail.

Did good: Don’t hit large animals!

Around my parts we have deer & moose,
Quite A few years back I was following at big ticket speeds in my SIR with a new GTI in front with a rack full of bikes
and he hit a deer or two, all I saw was a large pink cloud with an animal spinning horizontally into the ditch.
Not pretty, I stopped to check out the survivors.

He was already on his phone sitting on his hood & his girlfriend was sobbing, sick in the ditch.
The bike rack had been taken out and the rest of the car looked fine…

Moose are not good for your paint either!

I seldom use my Brembos with the force to get the ABS to kick in, im such a wimp in this car.

Drove my FRS to/at autocross yesterday. I spun for the first time since 2014, but did not hit any orange varmints. Did not crash?

Drove my FRS to/from SCCA HPDE at Summit Point. Dropped two wheels off and spin 180, but did not hit anything.

Judges??

Go fast, take chances.

I think the fact that you were able to drive it *from* HDPE indicates it was not a crash.

I am not impressed with any of these "did not crash" stories, unless you were driving backwards -
