Howdy all, I just got my first FR-S, 2013 bone stock. I'm coming from a BMW M235i so the lack of torque is a big shocker, but after having the car for just 1 day I can say the fun factor is higher than my previous car. Looking forward to getting to know the car then put on a tune and headers.

Noob here, mechanic or Panel beater
Hi all,
Brand new and want an opinion. I a 33 and have decided to buy a 2013 86 as a project car. I also have decided to start a mature age apprenticeship in either mechanic or panel beater. I need a career change and I love cars and always wanted to do work on my own project. The project I envision would be turning the 86 into at least a 400hp at wheels beast but I am undecided on if to pursue mechanic or panel beating as both would help with a long term career and help work on my own project. If you are a tradie in either would love to here your thought and pros and cons. Cheers all, Ben |

Hi!
Had a few cars over the years but this is the first one I'm modifying. Got a little build thread over in the other forum, aiming for a beast on the track Best regards, Jonathan from Sweden |

New member from Maryland here. I've got a 2017 BRZ series.Yellow which I just picked up on August 14th.
I've got about 15 years of experience doing autocross and trackdays, in everything from a Fiesta ST, to a Porsche Cayman, to a NB Miata, to a mostly-self-built Spec Miata race car. Plans for the BRZ are to work on improving the overall feeling of quality of the vehicle by doing work on the interior, sound deadening, audio equipment, and trim; and to make the track experience a little more engaging by increasing power and grip. |

Hi all! New member from Florida's Space Coast. My daily driver for the last several years has been a 2012 Tacoma. As I've modified it, it has become less and less daily driver friendly. To save on wear and tear, I decided to pick up another car to take over the daily driving duties, a 2013 Scion FRS. It has over 100k miles and is a little rough around the edges, but it will be a fun project car for me.

I've wanted a Toyoburu ever since they were announced, so I'm super stoked to finally have one. Oh, and a quick pic of my Tacoma. Untitled by Lee, on Flickr |

Welcome! Same story here, kinda. My Taco is mostly stock, aside from the wheels/intake/catback. But I bought my 86 a few years ago to help keep some miles off the clock, as I want to keep that truck until they stop making gasoline. It's a 2007 with almost 240k on the clock, but still runs great!

Hey everyone! I've had my 2014 Scion FR-S since February 2021, I've been lurking the forums here ever since. As I continue to modify my car, I decided to finally register and join the conversation.
Since I'm a college freshman working a part-time job, I've only had the money and time to perform very light mods, such as a Berk axle-back exhaust, an Open Flash Tablet, and a 56" wing. I have big plans for her though and I can't wait to see how far she'll go! |

Hi, everyone
i'm a petrolhead from good old germany with a great love for the GT86 car and motorsport. I've been reading this ft86 forum for a year but I didn't register because my English isn't that good. nowis time t say hello. i have built and driven a lot of racing cars besides BMW and Porsche, but none is as good on the racetrack as the GT86. You can find information about me on my Packeisen Motorsport website Later this year I'll tell you my story of how I picked up my little GT86 Samurai as a chassis from Toyota Motorsport Cologne and built it myself Greetings Ulli |
