Two things are possible:
You buy the cheapest 91 octane possible

Or

You drive your car really hard in stop and go traffic.

It is a 13 gallon tank, do the math. If 280 is all that is possible then you are getting 21.5 mpg. That is probably the worst I have gotten, and that would be while flogging my car down backroads. Now 400 miles brings you out to 30.7 mpg, which is 100% possible.

My best so far has been 370 to a tank about 60% highway with a good amount of aggressive driving.

Dude calm down, you need a hug or some things.

If you dont believe you try it in your frs/brz if you have one that is. anything is posable. shift @ 3000 max 3700 yes all the way to 6th gear. (Road) Set cruise @ 68 mph this means you'll be at 2900 rpm (Highway). if you have done this right you should be at 100 miles at the 1/4, 100 @ 1/2, 100 @ 3/4, and then 100 @ on the E with light on.

HA Ha I beat you Monkey

Ended up being 12.043 gal. I could have pushed it passed 420 if I cared to.

75mph highway, shifting under 3k on the streets.

I guess the OFT stage 1 tune didn't hurt my gas last week, it was my foot

You should let people know if you are M or AT. The AT FR-S is rated 4MPG higher for the highway than the manual.

stage 2 93 octane oft tune w/ full header/exhaust setup and drop in filter: most miles on a tank = 280 miles.

stage 2 e85 gas = 220 miles.

Anyone else getting higher #'s on OFT? This is mixed driving.
