12.5/1 Comp Forged Rods and Pistons
Anyone coming out with pistons and rods to keep the FA20 stock compression ratio? Would aftermarket forged rods work with the stock pistons?

Forged rods of the same dimension as stock would work fine IMO...but if you're already pulling it apart to do rods there's no reason to keep stock pistons in.
Lower CR pistons for a boosted application would be a good idea for margin of safety and det resistance, but will of course make a tad less power. Tad less power and safer though. |
