yeah... higher damping lower spring rates, BRZ does the opposite with higher spring rates but lower damping

mainly worried about if it would make the car too stiff...

The shocks are the same for FRS and BRZ. Tested by more than 1 source.

I was wondering about that....whether the differece in suspension setup (between the BRZ and the 86/FRS) was in the shocks or in the spring rates.

Just thinking out loud....so by fitting the STi pink springs in the 86/FRS, you'll end up with the "subaru version" of handling setup (nothing wrong with that by the way)....since all the testing was done in, and made for, the BRZ..??

needs more drop, if I saw your car on the street I would never guess it was lowered.

I think that amount of lowering is perfect. One thing that was attracting me to these over any other springs. All the other ones lower more than I want to. I definitely seem to be in the minority of people that don't like to see the car slammed.
@ZC6BRZ Please post up some impressions once you've been able to drive on them for a while.

So how is the ride? Does your car seem to handle better? Have you pushed it to the limit? Any changes in the way it responds?

Looks great! I'd love to pair them up with some Koni shocks and AST camber plates. Hmm..

The ride is great. slightly firmer than stock but not much. It rotates better, and handles better as well. No regrets, great purchase! Definitely recommend them for a good OEM+ setup.

Looks great, I'm comparing these to Eibach Pro Kit as well since they are basically the same amount of drop. The Eibachs are just a whole lot cheaper and easier to get is the only advantage so far.
