GR86 Real World Road Tests & Reviews

So. we're just a few short months from what we've been told that the GR86 will be hitting the showrooms. It's apparent that the aftermarket companies have had their hands on them for quite some time. When do you think we can expect to see some real world road tests and reviews to help us decide if we should rush into our dealerships and throw down a deposit? Or, are we going to have to wait until they actually hit the lots and test drive them ourselves (which most of us will do anyway)?

Car prices are crazy now. Unless you need a car or need to be first I would wait anyway. There will be so many used to buy once this crunch is over is a year or two. People are selling used cars for more than they bought. Car prices were a third of the CPI number. Not a good time to buy. But if you want to be first, just over pay.

I'm going to throw down a deposit, as long as it's refundable, as soon as I can.

When it arrives if they try to pull some ADM-garbage, I'll tell them to shove it.

The price seems to be highly competitive and consistent with price of the outgoing GT86.
Anyway, life is NOW.

The expected eu/us price, based on declared price of Japanese market, increased by less than 1%.

Let’s see what the dealers do. I believe when this car first came out people paid up to 5k over MSRP if my memory serves me well. It was a long time ago and I am getting older.

I heard upstate NY. Real good choice for this type of car in August IMO. Roads are excellent.
