just go get some PVC pipe and mold it into an em pod, you'll spend maybe 70$ all said and done with a new donor core (its 35$ for a new cluster trim piece online)

Anymore pics?

Gauge Pods?!?

Here is my setup. 52mm Defi Boost gauge. Just ended up using the universal mount with the double sided tape. I ordered the Craven Speed mount but really did not like how high it would have put the gauge. In comparison the cravenspeed would have been about an inch higher.

I actually would love a smaller gauge than this one but its fine.

Also if a line falls off on something like an oil cooler I rather know right away then waiting for the light to come on once no oil is left.

On a street car these are all useless TBH as the car will never get close to its limits. On the track its easy to over heat your car.

sorry for the crude simple reply haha! If you have any specific questions you can PM me so this thread doesn't get too off topic.
Good info.

And honestly, on track, warning lights are MUCH more effective for getting your attention than gauges. If you have to rely on gauges only, it's also a good idea to rotate them (if possible) not so the text/numbers are readable or aesthetically pleasing, but so that under ideal operating conditions all the needles point the same direction (generally straight up). This way a quick glance tells you go/no-go and your eyes are back on the track.

Good tip! and my gauges change colors at my preset levels and will even flash at me if I reach the 2nd warning level.

autometer elite series. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Edit: you can even wire up an audible warning if you want

Autometer makes great gauges. I've got a few of their Carbon series I might be selling (never used) and the Vette tach is their Cobalt series. Awesome digital tach with blue LED's for the shift point. On the pillar that'll get your attention!

I only have experience with the elite series but I do hear they make some other great ones too. I just wish they were not so expensive so I can get more and have them all match

I wonder the same. Seems to be a wall directly behind where the new gauge would be.

I know a couple of guys who have done it that way and the answer is yes, they had to drill a hole into that "wall".
