Keeping door open - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Tried several searches with no luck. Someone once posted a fix for the doors that won't stay open because of the weak detent. Does anyone know where to find that or how to implement a fix? I don't know about others, but that's about my biggest gripe about these cars.

My FRS eventually stopped doing it all on it's own. Not sure why. Maybe it didn't love me anymore and stopped giving hugs.
The Hakone has never done it once. Did they change something?

I'd recommend counseling. Have you tried to spice things up in the relationship and go on a spontaneous spirited country drive?

Teh Womenz Handbook says to ask them what's wrong, but it's never gotten me anything but a firm slap, or a door slammed in my face, so take the experts recommendation at your own risk.

The Frs has gone away with a younger man that lavishes her with gifts and pretties.
The Hakone has always been more reserved.

The doors still hug, so it definitely has to do with the gifts... or my driveway is on an incline. The next update will spill the details on the new to me parts, and a few of them are orange as well.
