who passed safety inspection catless? (NOVA area)

i have catless borla headers, catless front pipe.

I was hoping i would pass safety inspection without problems, but my inspector is very anal apparently. Yelled at me for removing cats and said i'm killing my kids and grand children. I was just trying to pass safety, not emission. (i'm in Northern VA)

Should i take it somewhere else?
or put the stock front pipe on and bring it back?
or put both front pipe and headers back on?

He didn't take off the under trays. Just saw the front pipe.

He's not wrong and it is a valid reason to fail: http://lis.virginia.gov/cgi-bin/legp...19VAC30-70-300

Just don't run a catless front pipe here. I've talked to my emission/inspection guys and they are pretty lax but said they fail "cars like mine" all the time because of that. Generally no on will check your header if they see the front pipe cat.

I was a VA state inspector for years, no way I would pass a car without cats.

Anything obvious like that is going to fail, the risk involved is too high. My employment was dependent on a inspectors licence, let alone the fact that the inspection program is run by the state police. No one wants to have "the chat" with Trooper Parker in his campaign hat and angry mustache.
