We are building an EZ30 for both of our race cars but implementation into the FRS is only coming after I finish up with the last R&D stages of the FA20. We've made 900 hp with an EZ30 and Hydra EMS so I'm not sure why someone said it's not worth the trouble as any 900 hp motor swap isn't easy

It takes a special build to make that power and I really do think to make it worth it you need to want 500+ hp. It does not drop in and it will not bolt to your transmission. If you have a team of engine builders who specialize in Subaru motors, you have 3 spare STI 6 speeds, you helped develop the Hydra EMS, and you've tuned many H6 motors you'll have no problem. LOL! That's us so I guess I should follow through.

I can't find it right now, but there's a sand rail company out in California that builds 1000hp Subaru 3.3 H6 engines....

Anything can be done when purely creating a race car but keeping it with oem features hasn't been done yet. An EJ would be a simpler swap and for 500 or less probably the better choice. For the power I want the EZ is the right choice but not everyone knows how to build one correctly as they have their quirks. I really like the engine, I like the sound, and we've made 900 hp with comparable reliability to a 600 hp EJ. 900 hp EJ doesn't have the reliability to road race at our level.

There are much easier swaps though. LOL!
