Steam is having a sale for Warner bros published games.

Grabbed the Arkham Batman trilogy and the whole FEAR collection for 10 bucks each.

FC6 gets released in 3-ish days time.
I haven't played a game on my PC for a while now. I'm looking forward to having something to play. I do like Ubisoft's open world games for the most part.

I'm a little disappointed FC6 pre-load is only 34.61 GB. How are they going to fit an entire world into that?

I'm waiting for more games to convert to the MS Flight Simulator method. MS using 2.5petabytes of online streaming data to enable the globe. That's how much space you need, to answer your question.

I'm downloading the high resolution texture pack now which takes it up to 72.91GB. That's more like it.

That's impressive. I'm guessing I would need a dedicated storage rack to play MSFS off-line.

I can't believe I spent $10 to download NFS Heat. I thought maybe I didn't quite appreciate it the first time around on the PS4, maybe with improved graphics and smoother play I would come to like it more on the PC. Makes me cringe. Is basically a Forza Horizon 4 with a story line.

And much, MUCH worse car physics.

Underground 2 was peak NFS car physics, change my mind. Everything before it was a bit janky, especially when it comes to rotational inertia, and everything after it became too arcade-y. Heat’s physics are absolute trash. I uninstalled it after the first race. Thank god it was on Gamepass and I didn’t pay to DL it.

You couldn't be wrong. I gotta say, I do love playing Shift 2: Unleashed, it didn't quite get the love it deserved. Is just tricky to play without a proper wheel setup.

I loved playing NFS 2015, it was probably the closest thing to Underground / Most Wanted. They didn't quite capitalize on the potential of the game. I think there's a way to 'return" games on steam right lol.

I might just go back and TRY to actually finish Outlast or SOMA.

I never tried Shift 2, mostly because I didn’t like Shift. NFS 2015 was good and I enjoyed it, I agree that it felt very ‘underground/most wanted’, but also that it didn’t quite reach its potential. The always online part is annoying as well.

Oh its a blast. One of the main reasons why I want to get a wheel and shift setup. Vehicles tend to oversteer a little but it isn't terrible. No 2013 86 tho. But you can drive Chris Rado's time attack Scion TC, Mad Mike's RX-8, plus a fully built AE-86. There's drift events, GT-1, Time Attack, Drag. I got it for $10 on Steam a while ago and hasn't been a bad purchase ever since.
