So where do you guys put your phone while driving since none of the newer phones will fit the cupholder slot.

I want a new phone that has loud earpiece volume to replace my N5 but seems like even a lot of new phones have this very issue lmfao!

The giant phones don't fit, sure... but lots of them aren't giant.

I have a custom mount I made, bolts up to one of the radio mounts - since I don't use a case on my phone, I just pop it into the case on the mount. Keeps it comfortably in view if I'm using it for nav.

I use a beatsonic clamp with a magnetic mount for my Galaxy S6 Edge. The swivel ball is compatible between the mounts so they were super easy to combine.

Every four months or so I have to wipe off the rubber piece of the magnetic mount so the phone doesn't slip off but other than that it works great.

With one of these attached.

I have a OnePlus One so I needed an AC mount to hold it. I got a $2 one from Daiso and it does what it does without breaking the bank. Hasn't broken yet

Just ordered the new Nokia 6 (released in the UK this week).. Going by what I've read it seems like a good phone (price vs spec).

Nokia 6 looks like a sweet phone.

The surface duo looks like another Microsoft failure already. A snapdragon 855 in a $1400 device? No WiFi 6? No 5G? And what’s the point in buying the Microsoft device if it runs Android? If they put windows on it that could be a differentiator, but noooo we just had to give up on Win10 on mobile. The operating system was solid as hell, all Microsoft had to do was spend time making more first party apps and pay the big 3rd party devs to port their iOS/android apps.

The Nokia has been pretty reliable, no issues other than when the weather gets really hot, it doesn't like sitting on charge..

As for the Duo, it does look nice. I can see it replacing the surface tablets as it's more portable but unsure on specs etc.

It's not yet released in the UK. I may have to get myself a new laptop (pending job situation), looking towards Surface Book 3 and see if there any deals if I was looking at 2 products from the MS family..

Surface book is probably Microsoft’s most impressive product right now. I like it a lot.
