I have the TRD SF2 wheels in 18x7.5 +46 so a higher offset meaning theoretically less calliper clearance and they clear my TRD brembos that are six pot front and four pot rear. But, spoke design may mean the wheels you're looking at have less (or more) clearance. But, as mentioned, see if they have a fitting template they can email you to print out and put on some card. Just make sure any template has a scale both vertical and horizontal so you can check the printout is the correct size.

They should fit at the very least. TRD put their brakes on with the same wheels. But like said above get a template to confirm.

But what I read is that the pic above is the fr-s rs 1 where they customed created a 8.5 and 9.5 wheel.. That's why it cleared the Trd 6pot 4pot brakes....

Your wheels will poke 14mm less than mine with my spacers in so worst case you might need to run a 10mm spacer.
The templates are easy to use if you can get hold of one.

You could always change the centre cap to a Subaru one or STi

Yeah. As funny as I think it would look, as my car is not a "Toyota," I would probably leave the TRD caps as they are TRD wheels. Anyone that gives me shit over it probably does not realize how intertwined Subaru and Toyota are in this car. Hell, I'm running TRD springs on my car right now
I don't plan on getting wheels for a while (I just got spacers to hold me over), but these in 18x7.5 square are on my short list. I also really like the STI wheels but was saddened to see they are 17" here in the US. The cost to get the 18" versions from Japanparts is too much to be justifiable. ASGA Spirits might be the way to go in that instance. |
