Passenger Seat adjust ?
so, last wknd i went out as a passenger and noticed how low it sits on that side. i guess because the drivers seat has the height adjustment lever -- i adjusted and its perfect but i started to think about my passengers/wife/etc --- it would be nicer if there was a way to bring it up a bit for better visibiility/feel for some of my smaller guests...
i was even thinking of seeing about perm adjusting it up an inch or so up further - some shims or whatever -- im guessing putting the adjustment lever is just too complicated if its not setup that way. I wish both sides had that lever. anyone else notice that yet -- i know its a small thing but i found myself feeling like i was sitting on the floor on that side... kinda sucks. Im 5'10 or so __ so its not up too far for me but enough to make it a little bit more drivable. I dont know what to do about this .. ? Hmmm just wondering if anyone had some ideas about this...

Not a lot of options. I suggest one of those articulated cushions that treat bad backs to raise the passenger a couple of inches.

What about buying another driver seat base? Maybe a RHD one from somewhere. Since the car is sold as both side drive, they must be interchangeable or something.

I still need an option for this.
let me recap. The passenger side DOESNT have the seat/rail/adjustment that the drivers side has -- it would be nice if it did so when I take people it doesn't seem like they are sitting on the floor - esp smaller folks. any ideas on how to do this ? help. thanks.

Just buy a periscope for them to see out, will keep the CG lower than raising the passenger higher with an adjustable seat...
Seriously though, I think sourcing the RHD seat/seat base would be a great option with perfect fitment and proper design for safety, but I'm sure price would be $$$ to get one. A cushion in the seat as mentioned might work as well since we are talking about smaller passengers who probably don't have any issues with the head restraint being too low. Only option I can think of to properly raise up the stock seat is an adapter "plate" that fits between the seat bottom and seat rail base. Other option would be an aftermarket seat... but that would be very $$$. I have thought about modifying the seats for an inch or more in height adjustment as well, but in the opposite direction - seats are not low enough to have a perfect driving position. 1-2" drop would cure that for me.
