Should I trade my car to FRS?
Hi, I bought the 2012 altima coupe with 4000 miles now.
I was waiting for the frs to come out, but they still have no information about it yet (at that time, so I decide to buy altima coupe 3.5SR) I am going to ask a dealer there will be a frs in next week, so I just wondering what people think about it? Should I trade in with my car or just keep my altima coupe 3.5 SR |

You are most likely going to lose thousands of dollars doing this. The minute you drove that Altima off the lot, it was worth several thousand less than you paid. My advice would be to keep the car a few more years and wait for the FRS hype to die down. Once that happens, you should be able to get better deals and all the first year model kinks will be worked out. I would expect the Subaru BRZ to be selling near invoice price within the next 12 months or so.

Even though I myself work for Toyota/Scion in Indy, I agree with Thill above. Unfortunately having just purchased the Altima as soon as the title application went to the BMV your car was a used vehicle and it's value began to drop. As far as pricing goes with the FRS it is under the pure price philosophy so there will not be any additional discount there, unless your local dealer (Royal I assume?) is charging a market adjustment.

Keep the altima. You're wasting away money.
