I'm sure you can find the TRD MAF table online somewhere.

Southwest Boeing 737 frags a compressor hours after we take one home. For the first time ever, I looked up and made a mental note of the serial number as we boarded. Creepy.
Wait, so the same plane you took home, or a different one?

You and S-ho make a good point. Not my comfort zone but probably more reasonable. I've never regretted blazing my own trail. Takes longer but knowledge is power.

I'm truly conflicted. :|

Not the same one but same model, same carrier. For a few years in the Navy, my life was just a string of close calls. Looking at that serial number the day before an actual incident just brought it all back in a flood.

Well, first step of MAF scaling is to put the intake in the car and drive it. Might run a bit weird at first but it should work ok? So Ho is right in that regard, PUT IN CAR. You need to let your fuel trims get to consistent values which takes some driving. I would avoid pushing it into OL until MAF is scaled, which is going to be torture.

Alternatively, you can get your scale close enough by copying in the predefined table, do a quick check out to make sure there isn't anything wonky, then let 'er rip. You can (and should) rescale later, but your starting point is closer.

Southwest only flys 737s last I saw. They really like them some 737. And winglets. And winglets on winglets. And swept tips on winglets on swept-tipped winglets. ... what were we talking about again?

First with the 60 minutes piece on Allegiant, now the SW engine grenading, I think I will just pay for premium service whereever I go.

Oh, hey, was I gone?

Hey @Tcoat, you guys make black brake rotors? I bought some rotors and I guess I didn't read all the way down the page. They have a "black GEOMET" coating. I assume it will wear off where pads will contact, since I'm pretty sure metal still only comes in one color. I just have never seen black rotors.

We do. We even use Geomet. It will last about 1/2 an hour on all contact points if you stick to light braking. Most of the OEM companies had us stop applying it to the braking surfaces since it was just a waste of time and money. However... It will last the life of the rotor or longer on any non contact points. It is really good stuff and even heat won't hurt it. I plan to use it on my new rotors when I eventually have to change them.

Edit:
Are those chips and scratches on the wheel mount face in the pic? I didn't notice them until I posted the response. There is no way it should be down to bare metal if properly applied. Once cured you can hit the bloody things with a hammer and it will just leave a scuff mark. If it can come off that easy it wasn't prepped or cured properly.

Cool. I figured it would be good for rust prevention in nooks and crannies. I'll take a closer look at them when I get home.
