Will the 91 Oct tune have the knock fix and fix the torque dip? If so how much?

ALL our tunes come with the knock fix. The torque dip is removed quite a bit on our tunes that are on a stock vehicle. For the most part headers seem to have the largest impact (coupled with a tune) in removing the torque dip.

All current pricing can be found on our website.

Hi All,

I will have some data out later today on this with what works and our tune to go with it. First need to finish up with some customer orders and Innovate Update Tunes need to get out.

Thanks for keeping us updated. I love the idea of a stock car, with no bolt ons making more power!

Bill stated he is still working on one; but..of course, with a few additional mods (I assume these will be the popular and quick mods, such as exh bits, header and intake)

But...What do you think Bill/Delicious Tuning can tune/squeeze out of a totally stock car with 91oct? ..like the totally-stock "200whp e85 tune" car, but just with 91oct.

I see Delicious Tuning's website and it states a couple different tunes..from stage 1 to stage 2, in both 91oct and e85 options ..but, the descriptions all say the same thing (I'm sure it needs to be updated).

.
You bring up a good point on the Stage 1 & 2 differences on our website. At one time there was a difference between the two but we have been slowly merging the two and adding in adaptations in the EcuTeK RaceROM custom mapping so we can offer one map that fits almost any setup. By any setup we would mean being able to add in headers and full exhaust systems at any time to our tune. The one main thing you would not be able to do (at this time) it change to a different intakes unless it is an Airaid (or Stock) intake which does not need re-tuning with our tunes.

Some new interesting and cool news, we have a customer in the greater Texas area who has been running his fairly stock FRS/BRZ at the local 1/4 mile drag strip and with our Stage 2 (or 1, as stated above) E85 tune managed a 14.3576. We think that is pretty good, being these cars stock run on average around 15.00 flat in the 1/4 mile.

Cheers,
William Knose

I pulled those same numbers with an FA20 club intake/bills 200 whp stock e85 tune/245 zII's. Speaking of wich @DeliciousTuning I recently added head back 3 inch Ptuning exhaust, should I send in log's or are there changes you know of that could make a little more power to the tune with said mods?

If you manage to accomplish this then your tune will literally be my next mod. What's been holding me back is the knowledge that I want to get a header a little down the road and I don't want to have to get another tune to support that, so I'd rather just do header/tune at the same time. If I can get and enjoy a tune now on my car with just a drop-in and catback with the knowledge that I can add a header later without re-tuning I would be a happy guy.

You can You'd just need to let us know when you get your header. The only change is disabling the codes from the lack of cat, other than that our tunes will automatically take advantage of the header.

So, if I purchase through your store, it doesn't matter if I get stage 1 or 2 because they are the same map?

I'm very interested in tuning e85 for my BRZ.
So far, I have already installed HKS racing suction reloaded intake and full exhaust system (Borla UEL header, perrin over pipe, invidia catless front pipe, 2.5 perrin catback exhaust without resonator.
Btw, does a set of lightweight pulley really help, when it comes to tuning ?
Now, I'm looking at around 220 whp with this tune, do you think that is it possible ?
