todays project. it's one that created it's own name. "project irony"

after looking them up, apparently they're $600/pr surround sound speakers mounted on $9 walmart floor lamp bases. ran out of steam before running the wire, but the hardest part is done.

I agree, however, it's a great opportunity to get rid of stuff you don't need - like said "if you haven't used it in the last year and don't plan on using in the next year - get rid of it".

Yeah I've been filling trash bags with old clothes, linens, college stuff, etc. that I don't need.

It's nice but honestly I wish I had a better mentality of just getting rid of stuff throughout the years instead of keeping it stashed somewhere in a closet.

The theory is sound but I have read that doing your own packing for a move takes a bazillion times longer than paying a removalist because every item that gets picked up has to be considered for the emotional attachment.

*Picks up random item* "Oh this belonged to/ we got this when../ yeah we should toss it out but remember when..."

Yeahhh this literally happened to me today. I even had to call my parents to ask their opinion.

My sister on one of her world travels bought me a couple items (ones I didn't even ask for or say I had interest in) several years back. I felt like just tossing both but wound up packing them.

I'll probably be holding onto them for the next several decades. Welp.

Actually could result in more cooling. Approximately the same mass flow rate (because the whole thing is in a box and we aren't talking high enough velocity to make much of a difference I think), but there are two more passes across the flow.

That being said, the lines could theoretically divert a greater percentage of air over the core reducing that core's total heat extraction, though that would marginally increase the ac and coolant core effectiveness...

Packing a box of OEM parts I'm keeping.. Is it worth keeping mostly used up OEM pads and the old OEM brake lines?? :dunno:
